Angie 'ANJi' Gao is a Sydney-based composer, arranger, sound designer, and multi-instrumentalist, specialising in game & film music. Their diverse interest in all kinds of art forms shapes the music ANJi creates and listens to.In 2024, ANJi composed music for the student film Pouch, which won the SCA/MFSA jury award for Best Film. In 2025, their synth track ‘Up Next’ was selected for the Sydney Conservatorium Spotify Ad placement.ANJi's current projects include upcoming indie animated film My Girlfriend, Enid by @towflyn, and indie visual novel Carnations and Violets by @blueswanson (itch.io, tumblr, bsky).
