Angie 'ANJi' Gao is an emerging Sydney-based multimedia composer, arranger, multi-instrumentalist, and creative. Their diverse interest in all kinds of media — games, films, art, books, anime — shapes the music ANJi creates and listens to.In 2024, ANJi composed music for the student film 'Pouch', which won the SCA/MFSA jury award for Best Film. In 2025, their synth track ‘Up Next’ was selected for the Conservatorium Spotify Ad placement.ANJi is currently working on several collaboration projects with fellow creatives and students, and is open to new projects so feel free to get in contact with them!
